Memetic Culture

Interesting post that misses the point.

- memetic cultures can look like degenerate mess from the outside because of the value captures that happens by some actors
- culture is shaped by a couple of high status people who, through their behaviour, teach/show what behaviour/clothes etc are on. The only ones who are allowed to deviate from the normal are these high influential people (research social identity theory).
- emotions are an integral part of humans decision making. We are not rational.

The post felt like a bashing of memecoins and a call to (re?) elevate crypto discourse to higher - scientific - level.
